Information you choose to share
When you send an enquiry or place an order, we use your contact details, project information and delivery details to respond, manage the order and provide support. Access to enquiries and orders is restricted to shop management.
Email sign-in
Trade customers sign in using a one-time code sent to their email address through Resend. Codes expire after 10 minutes. We use essential secure cookies to keep the sign-in request in the same browser and keep you signed in for up to seven days. Signing out removes your current session. We store your verified email and protected sign-in records to secure your account and prevent misuse. A customer email login does not give access to shop administration.
Trade accounts and messages
We use your sign-in identity and business details to review your trade application, manage approval and apply trade pricing. Authorised shop management can see applications, review notes and message status. Approval updates are sent by email and SMS when the messaging services are connected. Email is handled by Resend and SMS by Twilio. Monthly promotional email is optional: we record your preference and you can change it in your trade account or use the unsubscribe link in any promotion. Opting out does not remove an approved trade discount. Trade messages are separate from optional website measurement.
Product reviews
We use your order email to send one invitation to review the purchased products, due six days after order placement once payment is confirmed. Cancelled and fully refunded orders are excluded. Review invitations are separate from marketing and include a link to stop future invitations. Your chosen display name, rating and comments become public after a check for spam, personal information and relevance. We link the review privately to the paid order to verify the purchase; we do not publish your contact or delivery details. Positive and negative feedback follow the same checks.
Checking delivery
The postcode checker sends your postcode to Postcodes.io to find its location. We use that location to check the local delivery zone or calculate our postcode-distance delivery tariff. The calculation does not require a road-routing provider. Your name, email address and phone number are not required for a postcode check.
Payments
Stripe handles payment details through its secure checkout. The shop receives payment status and order references; card details are not stored in the shop’s product or order database.
Your basket and optional cookies
Your basket is saved in this browser so it remains available between visits. A checked delivery postcode is kept for the current browser tab so you can continue to checkout, where the delivery price is checked again. Contact and address details are not saved in browser storage. Cookie preferences are also saved locally. Optional measurement tools load only after you accept optional cookies and when the shop’s tracking connection is enabled.
Your choices
You can ask about your information or request a correction or deletion by contacting us. Some order records may need to be retained for accounting, contractual or other applicable obligations. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
