Where can artificial grass be installed?

You can put artificial grass down on just about any surface, including an existing lawn, a decked patio or hard-concreted areas. Wherever you install it, make sure the drainage is good and check out our installation guide beforehand.

Can I mix the thickness of artificial grass when I order?

We recommend keeping a single consistent thickness of artificial grass within a given area. Different styles and thicknessess can have colour variations that may clash and spoil the overall finish of your lawn.

How easy is it to keep artificial grass clean?

Keeping artificial grass clean is simple.

Is artificial grass safe for children and pets?

Yes! Provided that you choose a suitable range, artificial grass is perfectly safe for both children and pets. Softer, well-cushioned grasses are ideal for kids who like to play outside regularly. Any mess made by animals can be picked up in the usual way and washed off easilywith warm water.

Do weeds grow through artificial grass?

Sometimes weeds and plants can poke up through the membrane beneath your artificial grass, particularly if it’s not fitted properly. We recommend treating the area thoroughly with weed killer before you lay the artificial grass, and then twice a year after that.

How much artificial grass do I need?

The easiest way is to measure the width and length of the area you want to cover with artificial grass, multiply them together and write your measurements down. Make sure you use the widest and longest points of the area. It’s better to buy too much and cut bits away rather than having to buy more you need to stick together.

Will my grass match if I buy more than one piece?

If you need more than one piece of grass to be joined together, let us know when you order, and we’ll do our best to match them by cutting from the same roll.

Due to naturally occurring pigment variations between batches, we are unable to guarantee that rolls will be an exact match.

Do you fit artificial grass?

SayGrass is a supply and install company.

Will my artificial grass drain properly?

Most artificial grass has a porous backing and will drain naturally, but it’s worth preparing the surface under your artificial grass properly beforehand.

Does artificial grass fade in the sun?

All artificial grass ranges will fade eventually, but very gradually. The good news is that all of our ranges are UV stabilised, with a minumum 5 year guarantee to keep their vibrant colour in all weather conditions.

At a little loss for words, spoke with a lovely person call Neeru. The initial conversation was positive, great phone etiquette. Was given an immediate price point as a reference. Upon searching around, they were the cheaper deal by at least 1k! I needed a quick turnaround too, Neeru was able to organise and get everything sorted within a week! Honestly shocked at the incredible speed of service, the people who came to complete the job were cordial, laid floor covers down to protect my floors and even swept up after they were done. Some things are expected, but this whole process has shown me that there are just some bits of class and customer service you can’t put a price on. Will be using them for every bit of Garden work from here on out!

Very professional service all round. The installation team arrived on time and worked non stop. They really paid attention to detail which left an immaculate finish.
